Vanguard fuses the classic essence of titanium with the performance of today's most advanced bicycle.

By integrating all the cables inside our Vanguard, it exceeds the expectations of the most demanding cyclists when it comes to pedaling hard on asphalt.

Vanguard was our first major project, both original and ambitious, because of the high difficulty involved in welding the low-line tie rods in a rigorous, precise and responsible manner.

With the advent of disc brakes and the extraordinary support of thru axles, we realized that the rear end of our road bikes could improve towards a more stable behavior in the face of torsional deformations.

This decision involved a long road of many learnings with a dense development, because it is not as simple as changing the support point of the suspenders.

By putting so many spot welds together in such a small area, both tie rods meet in the same middle area of the seat tube and we found that internal and external deformations occurred, which altered and compromised a very high load point.

In order to apply this compact rear axle, more than five different parts have to be fabricated, welded in a very specific order and time, with a meticulous procedure that forms a solid assembly with a lifetime warranty.

Predictable is faster

After having met your physical limit more than ten times on a major mountain pass, to reach the top 35 seconds earlier,
the last thing you want on the descent is to be left behind or to have a scare in a 70 km/h corner.

It sounds a bit strong, but high performance cycling is a very serious thing, more and more the more seriously you take it.

From a sporty point of view, more radical is not faster but quite the opposite and the magic of a masterful elite bike is in achieving that complex balance where a bike climbs like an angel and then allows you to descend like a demon.

The titanium and the design of the Vanguard always play in your favor up and down.

For its mechanical qualities, you will feel the reactivity of a bike that channels all the force of the pedaling to move forward like a rocket and that in the curves, flattens all the roughness and imperfections of the asphalt.

Everything you need

From 25c to 32c tires you have a universe of reactivity and comfort in the same bike.

With the new Vanguard, we've gone the extra mile in tailoring your bike's performance so you can ride a thoroughbred racer or a bike capable of filtering the roughest asphalt in long-distance challenges.

Even with 32c tires, there is still plenty of room to keep pedaling to the end in case the rim goes off-center or in muddy conditions.

Balanced Race Geometry

It's not just a matter of making a titanium frame and replicating a geometry, you have to adapt the shape, the internal section of the tubes and where they are welded.

All with the utmost precision and engineering analysis to make titanium work at 100% of its potential.

Add to the Vanguard's sporty, well-balanced geometry and the fact that each titanium tube has been developed to achieve a balanced target in every size, and every expert rider will feel how natural it is to climb on it and make clean lines through even the most complex turns.

How many times have we heard comments like this, but we have a problem... If we know that something can be done better, we have the need to do it better.

The Vanguard project was one of the challenges with which we learned the most, because it is really difficult to do well a bike like this, so well tuned.

Its live appearance is impressive, but when you look at the details of each weld and each patiently crafted piece, as time goes by and you get to know your Vanguard with all its details, then you will appreciate that you have a masterpiece.
